Vera Bradley has done it again! This is the fourth time in less than two years that they have released a Harry Potter-inspired design, and they have succeeded, yet again.
This time the design is inspired by Luna Lovegood, Harry’s dreamy friend who lives her life on her terms and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks about her. She is my favorite character in the entire series so I was beyond excited when I found out that they created a collection based on her.
The look is very feminine, which might not appeal to people who don’t like pink, but I do so my first thought after seeing it was a positive one. It is an all-over-print design and here is what it looks like.
It uses elements that are related to Luna, including her patronus (a hare), dirigible plums (sometimes confused with radishes and made into earrings by Luna), and spectrespecs (the glasses that she wore from her father’s magazine, The Quibbler). It also uses colors that were used in the clothes that Luna wore.

This is an exclusive line that can only be purchased online at Vera Bradley’s website and is a very small collection of only 16 items. Of those 16 items, six are bags and one is a charm for the bags. I’ve included all seven of these items below.
CAMPUS BACKPACK
This measures 12″W x 16.5″H x 7.5″D, which means that it is slightly taller than a typical mini backpack but the width is much wider, so you have plenty of room to put your items. There is even a compartment for storing your laptop. It retails for $130.
LUNA BAG CHARM
This is incredibly cute and I’m guessing that it will sell out quickly. It has a metal carabiner clip that you use to attach it to your bag, and it includes a heart, Luna’s patronus (a hare), and her spectrespecs. It retails for $20.
RFID ALL IN ONE CROSSBODY BAG
This is one of my favorite items. It is a combination purse and wallet in one, hence its name, and it holds more than I thought it would. There is even a pocket that fits most cell phones, including my iPhone 12 Max Pro. It retails for $80.
SLING BACKPACK
I love my sling backpack from the Forbidden Forest line so I was excited to see that it was included in this one. It’s similar to a backpack and is worn as a sling across your body. There is plenty of room inside for most items you’d want on any given day, and it has a total of three external pockets, including a hidden one in the back that is very deep (the pocket is the entire width of the bag). It retails for $65.
SMALL VERA TOTE BAG
The name says small but it’s actually pretty big, with plenty of room for holding items, such as for a day at the beach. There are four external pockets, including a wand pocket, and six slip pockets on the inside. It retails for $95.
SMALL VERA TOTE BAG – SPECTRESPECS
This is the same size and style as the tote above it but the design is very different. Instead of using Luna’s Medallion, it uses a variation of it of her spectrespecs, along with hearts and other design elements. The other difference other than appearance is the pockets. This has three external pockets, not four. It retails for $135.
TRIPLE ZIP HIPSTER CROSSBODY BAG
This is another of my favorites of Vera Bradley’s styles because I love pockets and this has a lot! There are two on the front that zips shut, and two on the back. One back pocket is the perfect size for a cell phone and the other is a wand pocket. It retails for $85.
