Two days ago I was lucky enough to go to Disney’s EPCOT where I had the opportunity to preview the new Ratatouille ride, which as of this writing isn’t officially open yet. The ride was incredibly well done and I was able to ride it three times.
But this post isn’t a review of that new ride. Nope, instead, it’s about the fandom bags that I saw while I was there.
My friends and I spent the better part of the day there, and every now and then I would stop to take a picture. By the end of the day, I’d seen a total of 13 bags and one wallet. All of which you can see here.
The brand Loungefly was the big winner because every single bag that I saw was made by that company, with the possible exception of just one purse.
Usually, when I go to theme parks I see bags from a variety of fandoms, but, interestingly, everyone that I saw on this day was Disney-themed.
RATATOUILLE MINI BACKPACK AND WALLET
I am starting with my favorite bag from the day, which is also the most appropriate one, given my reason for going to Disney on this day.
This is a Loungefly Ratatouille mini backpack and its matching wallet. The woman who owns these was eager to show them to be, and I understood why after seeing them. Not only is the front adorable, but so is the back and inside.
The front, as you can see, is Remy the rat’s face, and he is holding a piece of cheese. He is wearing his chef’s hat, although it’s a bit hard to see that from this picture. His ears are a cute shade of pink and stick out on the sides.
The cuteness doesn’t stop there, though. This is the back. It says, “If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff.” Not only that, Remy’s tail is attached at the bottom and it can move back and forth.

This is what the inside looks like. The print is of Remy and his brother, along with cheese and plates of the ratatouille made by the Little Chef.
Yes, as you can see from the above picture, there is a matching wallet! It also shows Remy’s face, but this time it looks like he is eating the cheese instead of holding it.
THREE DISNEY DOGS
This Loungefly bag has three iconic Disney dogs on it. On top is one of the puppies from 101 Dalmatians, Lady from Lady and the Tramp is in the middle, and Mickey Mouse’s faithful pal Pluto is on the bottom.
DISNEY HALLOWEEN MINI BACKPACK
This bag by Loungefly is black with a variety of not-so-spooky Halloween images on it. You can see ghosts, candy corn, bats, bows, gumdrops, witch cupcakes, and Mickey Mouse jack-o-lanterns.
CHIBI DISNEY PRINCESSES
This Loungefly bag is covered with Disney princesses. These tiny princesses include Ariel from The Little Mermaid, Jasmine from Aladdin, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Tatiana from The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel from Tangled, Pocahontas from Pocahontas, and Mulan from Mulan.
MINNIE AND MICKEY MOUSE ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA
This Loungefly bag show Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse, as well as Daisy Duck and Donald Duck, on what looks like a trip that they all took to the French Riviera. There are also a few French images mixed in with them, such as a boat and buildings.
HOCUS POCUS WITH THACKERY BINX
This is a purse that I had previously written about here. It is from Loungefly and is from the film Hocus Pocus. You can see the three Sanderson sister witches, as well as Thackery Binx, the man who they magically transformed into a cat.
MARIE MINI BACKPACK
This bag is of Marie from The Aristocats, which was one of my favorite movies when I was young, and later it became a favorite of my kids. Marie was the sassy girl kitten and here she is, looking completely adorable with her big blue eyes! Well done, Loungefly.

COLORFUL PANTS MICKEY MOUSE
This shows Mickey Mouse in his iconic pose, and that’s all. Except, not every Mickey is the same. His pants (or are they shorts?) are shown in six different colors: red, blue, green, black, and a greenish-yellow.
MINNIE MOUSE WITH HEARTS
This is the only bag that I don’t think is Loungefly because there’s no telltale metal plaque on the front. Perhaps this is Bioworld? I’m not sure. Regardless, it’s a lovely rendition of Minnie Mouse. The body of the bag is red with white polka dots, just like her dress, and the front pocket shows her with two large hearts.
LIGHT-UP PETER PAN
This is made by Loungefly, even though it doesn’t have its tag on the front. It shows Peter Pan, Wendy, and her two brothers as they fly over London. This is a scene from Disney’s animated film Peter Pan. The design is gorgeous, but it gets even better. As the woman who owns this told me, the stars and windows light up! They glow-in-the-dark, so I couldn’t see the effect because it was daytime, but I’m sure this is really pretty to see at night or in the dark.

PLUTO LOUNGEFLY MINI BACKPACK
One of Mickey Mouse’s best friends is his dog, Pluto. This is Loungefly’s rendition of the playful pup. He is orange with black ears, and no one knows exactly what kind of dog he is, but that doesn’t matter. Why? Because just look at that happy face! Pluto looks like he’s ready to jump up and give you a kiss.
SLINKY DOG
Slinky Dog is one of Woody’s friends in Toy Story. Loungefly has created a bag in his honor where he is standing upright and looking very happy. The front pocket is clear but has gray stripes to represent the stretched metal bands of his body. Below that you can see his bottom feet. Adorable!
TRADITIONAL MICKEY MOUSE
This Loungefly bag looks very similar to the one seen above, but instead of having different colored pants, this one shows the traditional Mickey Mouse in a couple of different poses. I have to say, the Minnie Mouse holder for hand sanitizer is a very nice touch!
As you can see, fans of Disney were out in full force showing off their love for various movies and movie characters, and I loved seeing them.
