Earlier today a friend of mine sent me a text telling me that she was at a Vera Bradley outlet store near where she lives. She and I both love Harry Potter so she was looking to see what they have at discounted prices.
I have to admit that there is an outlet store near me but I never thought to look there for any fandom bags because I know that Vera Bradley doesn’t ever put them on sale on their website, so I assumed that the same would be true at one of their outlet stores. Turns out I was wrong.
My friend sent a couple of pictures to me and said that all the items were 50% off!
Not only does the store my friend was at have Harry Potter bags on clearance but they even still have stock from their first two lines. The first one is called Home To Hogwarts and was released in late 2020 and the second line is called Herbology and was released in early 2021. They are pretty much sold out of these two lines on their website but still have some stock in at least one outlet store.
This is the first picture that my friend sent to me. All of the items that are in the front part of the picture are from the Home To Hogwarts line, while the colorful ones right behind them on the same table are from Herbology.
The next picture that she sent to me is more of both lines. I can see backpacks, totes, lunch boxes, crossbody camera bags, sling backpacks, and throw blankets.
My friend got one item for me, the Ravenclaw throw blanket. It’s quite large as far as throws go, measuring 50″ x 80″. I have a lot of throw blankets and this is larger than any of them. She also said that it is super soft.
But, it’s not a purse and that’s the purpose of this website. She inspired me to go to the one that is about an hour from where I live so tomorrow I will drive over there to see what they have. Vera Bradley makes bags for three fandoms: Disney, Harry Potter, and Peanuts, so I’m very excited to see what items from these three very different lines are on clearance. I’ll write more tomorrow.
