I Saw A Desert Mickey Mouse Mini Backpack

Yesterday I took my daughter to my hair stylist so she could get a haircut. She doesn’t often want them but she’d taken to cutting her hair herself, so it was time.

We walked into Bailey’s room at the salon and I promptly hung up my coat. As soon as I did, I saw that Bailey has a Desert Mickey Mouse mini backpack hanging on the hook next to my coat. This didn’t surprise me at all because Bailey is a HUGE fan of Disney. She has an annual pass for Disney World and goes often.

I don’t know what her bag is actually called but it reminded me of the desert because of how it is designed. The primary color is orange, like a Western sunset. It has lots of potted plants, including cactus and one in the shape of Mickey’s head, also known as a Hidden Mickey.

The backpack is a little unusual for a Loungefly bag because the front pocket is clear, although it also has a printed graphic of Mickey and plants on it, and it looks like they are standing in front of a traditional Southwestern kind of building.

The material is soft, like the bag that I have that I reviewed here. I like the way this material feels but my experience with it is that you have to be careful with it because it’s more prone to marks and dirt.

I see that there are also two side pockets on it. I like how the inside of the side pockets is a darker orange than the rest of the background color. It makes for a very nice combination.

I almost asked if I could look on the inside to see what the lining looked like, but I was uncomfortable doing so because that’s a bit personal. Not seeing it has left me curious, so I actually looked it up and found it online. The inside has images of the desert, along with Minnie Mouse.

I also found that I was very close when I gave this a name but the actual name uses Southwestern and not Desert. It was a Box Lunch exclusive, so I now know where my hair stylist got it from.
